  • Schematic system design/layout (line flow diagrams)
  • Basic loads analysis, solar and wind resource measurement and jurisdictional permitting
  • Product sourcing, purchasing, delivery and receipt
  • Foundation engineering, excavation, and installation
  • Tower assembly and/or erection
  • Wind turbine installation and commissioning
  • Photovoltaic array installation and commissioning
  • Low and high voltage electrical work
  • MET array fabrication and installation

Wind Turbines:

  • Micro: 0 - 10 kW
    Proven 6, ARE, Bergey EXCEL, Endurance
  • Small: 10 - 100 kW
    Proven 15, Endurance, etc.)
  • Mid: 100 - 500 kW
    (re-built Vestas, Northwind, etc.)
  • Large: 500+ kW
    (G.E., etc.)

Tower:

  • Mono-Poles (stacked and full-length)
    Free-standing (PV hybrid option)
    Tilt-up
  • Guyed: Lattice (or pipe):
    Fixed (PV hybrid option)
    Tilt-up
  • Free Standing: Lattice:
    Single leg

Emphasis:

  • MET instrumentation
  • Wind and solar PV integration with communication tower installations
  • Mid-sized wind installations (commercial, community and municipality)

Highland Energy Systems typically does not provide:

  • Detailed system engineering (beyond that provided by the product manufacturer)
  • Design and programming of data measurement systems
